According to the leaflets in the boxes, this year's oranges are from the Ave Maria Farm in Mairena del Alcor, Andalucia, Spain.

It's that time of year again!
January is seville orange season -- the time all marmalade-makers have to buy their oranges for the year ahead. Acordingly, this morning I collected 8 boxes of seville oranges weighing 40 lb each! So for the next couple of weeks I shall be living and breathing oranges as I get them all chopped, cooked and frozen!

oh my! I used to make a single batch each year for my husbnad, but fortunately for me he stopped eating toast :-)
I can't imagine preparing that amount.
Good luck!
Yum yum!! I bet your house smells of it for ages!!! Does it put you off eating it though??
lol dilly -- yes i must admit i don't tend to eat much marmalade!
Probably as much due to skipping breakfast as being fed up of the sight of it tho!
